PEOPLE IN FOCUS
People In Focus is an independent, non-governmental, non-political organization founded in 2014. They specialize in promoting social inclusion, empowerment, and personal development through sport, with a strong focus on martial arts-based methodologies. They recently joined the USSI Erasmus+ project to leverage martial arts values in creating positive change through sport.
Target groups:
✅ Children and youth, especially those marginalized or at risk
✅ Coaches, youth workers, and sports educators
✅ Local community groups focused on sports outreach
✅ Civil society organizations interested in inclusion through sport
Key activities in the USSI Erasmus+ project:
• Implementing martial-arts-based workshops and awareness sessions for youth and coaches
• Co-designing training modules to embed inclusive and empowerment values
• Running community outreach events that showcase sport as a tool for social development
